Everything you need to know before diving into a ride or delivery with Dara’s Dolphins! 💙

It all started back in 2003 when Dara was a swim coach in Radium. The name “Dara’s Dolphins” was suggested for the swim club, and although the club went another direction, Dara loved it! She used it as her trade name when teaching swimming lessons and instructing for 9 years in Fairmont Hot Springs. 

From swimming lessons to transportation, the dolphins have traded their goggles for car keys — and the rest is history 

 Short hops or long swims — we’ve got fins for that!

Golf courses, ski hills, airports, weddings, concerts, appointments, dinner dates, or a night on the town!

From quick trips around the Columbia Valley to longer adventures toward Calgary, Golden, Cranbrook, and beyond, our pod loves making waves on the road!

Don’t wait until you’re stranded on the sandbar!

Advance booking is recommended, but spontaneous splashes are welcome when drivers are available!

For rides outside regular dispatch hours, please book ahead so we can get a dolphin ready for you!

Even dolphins need their beauty sleep!

We’re not quite a 24/7 pod, but late-night pickups and airport arrivals may be arranged in advance.

Check Google for our updated hours, and remember — pre-booked rides may be available outside regular hours!

You bet your flippers we do!

Hungry? Thirsty? Need groceries or essentials? Our delivery dolphins can help with food, liquor, groceries, and other eligible items!

Deliveries depend on driver and vehicle availability. When the pod is fully booked, we may not be able to squeeze in another splash!

No seashells required!

We accept cash, e-transfer, debit, and credit cards through Square, plus online invoice payments.

Pre-booked rides must be paid for the day before, while last-minute bookings require payment at the time of booking 

Don’t leave a dolphin high and dry!

Life happens, and plans change! Just give us at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel your ride.

Cancellations within 12 hours are charged the full fare, as your dolphin has already been reserved and scheduled!

Party like a rockstar — travel like a dolphin!

Absolutely! If we’re taking you to an event, restaurant, or bar, we’ll plan your ride home too.

On Friday and Saturday nights, our pod often swims into the wee hours, depending on the season and bookings. 

Fore-get the hassle — we’ve got room!

Grab your golfing buddies! Each vehicle can accommodate four golfers and four sets of clubs.

Heading to the slopes instead? Our vehicles have Thule roof boxes for skis, snowboards, and winter gear.

And for our two-wheeled adventurers, we can transport up to four regular bikes or two e-bikes!
