WHEN MY CHILD IS IN LESSONS AT FAIRMONT, WHERE MAY I WATCH?
You may stand under the covered walkway, or anywhere on the grassy area. As street shoes and clothes are not allowed anywhere on the deck (as per the BC Health Act), the grassy area is ideal. The other IDEAL place is from the hot tub. You can enjoy a nice soak and still be able to watch your child anywhere in the pool. Cost for 1 parent/family is just $5.50 per visit.
DO I NEED TO GO IN THE WATER DURING MY CHILD'S LESSONS?
Depending on what program you've signed up for. For all Parent & Tot programs- you must be in the water. For the preschool programs 3 years and up, a parent does not need to be in the water during the lesson. BUT REMEMBER- after the lesson your child is your responsibility. ALL CHILDREN 8 YEARS AND YOUNGER- MUST BE WITHIN ARMS REACH OF AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.
WHERE ARE THE SWIM LESSONS?
We offer swim lessons year-round at Fairmont Hot Springs Pools, Radium resort (golf resort) and Mountainside Villas. During the summer months we are at Canal Flats Community Beach, Windermere Community Beach, and can do other beaches/pools upon request. The only pool we are unable to swim at will be the Radium Hot Springs Pools.
